Article on Confessing the Word of Word and getting results

This is not to point blame, criticize or condemn any individual, any group or denomination. This hopefully, will help us all see that we have missed the true goal that God intended for this move. Good news is, we can still catch the heart and mind of God in this movement and be more prepared for the battles we are in today.

We all keep hearing "speak the word", "confess the word", "speak the word" again and again. I have listened to and watched this for years and I am still listening and looking for the results. Yes, speaking the Word is good to remind ourselves and to become familiar with the Word but speaking words without results only keeps us in bondage, keeps our tongue exercised and the world looking on, hoping to see the miraculous.

Have you seen the dead raised? Have you seen the blind eyes opened? Have you seen deformed bodies become the perfect human body? Yes, we have seen a little here, a little there but not in abundance. I am not satisfied nor is God with a little here and a little there. When Jesus told the dead to come forth, they came forth, alive and well; When he told blind eyes to see, they saw; when he told deformed bodies to be made whole, they were; When he spoke to demonic spirits they fled. He didn't have to tell them over and over again. His "Word" was the "Word".

I see families standing at grave sides burying their young son and daughter that died even though they spoke the Word over them daily. They hoped that by speaking the Word, death would not come, but come it did. They did what they had been taught to do; "Speak the Word". What they missed was "letting "God" speak His Word through them". This needs to be taught when the "Speak the Word" message is taught, It is not I, nor you, but the Holy Ghost within you and me that can speak the living Word and see the results instantly. Forget about yourself or making a name for yourself but give God the opportunity to be "God" in our lives and in lives around us and than we can through Him, speak life into the dying, healing to the sick, end to wars and have peace that only God can give.

I rejoice to see God work even in the smallest ways but I want to see results that baffle the world! When the church can grasp what "speaking the Word" is saying, WE WILL SEE the results. I am talking about results that only God can perform. Speaking words with your mouth with your heart far from it, will not produce measurable results. When the Word becomes the "Rhema Word of God" within us, we can speak the Word one time and the "Word" will "become life".

The "Word of Faith" movement was a genuine move of the spirit to increase Bible knowledge and to plant the written word in our heart and minds. But if we fail to understand that this move was only foundational we miss the real intention of the movement in the first place.

Again it not "us" speaking the word with our mouths but it is the Holy Spirit speaking that word into our heart and spirit. We, in turn, speak that word forth getting the spoken results without delay or planting doubt in the hearts of others by doing so.
