"I, The Lord am grieved for this nation, and will not long withold my judgment in the affairs of America. In days gone by, have I not blessed in abundance all of your ventures and labor. Well fed, well clothed, well housed has this nation been for decades, and yet there has been no abundance of thanks or gratitude. Over and above all other nations of the earth have you been blessed, and yet you say "We need more": "It is not enough". You have turned My blessings toward you into your god, a god that can neither save or deliver. For it is fleeting; and it will fail. The leaders over this nation are haughty, proud, and arrogant. They cannot receive advice or correction from each other for they are stubborn and self-willed. They are contrary to the people at large, whom I love, and they are strong and stout against my people who walk in faith toward me. They now shun, belittle and mock my people and my Word and count them but small concerns only to be tolerated. "No prayers to Me, where others may see and hear your petitions rise; We must not offend, and in this they sin, for scales have covered their eyes". Oh they have talked of change, and with deceit and lies they have brought change. And the change will continue unless it is checked."

"Israel is My delight, yet the leader of this nation has shunned and ignored her. He courts and appeases her enemies while they laugh at and mock him as he does so, for they too are of subtle deceit. Here then is my judgment in the matter: Change shall continue, but it shall be the change of My ordering and counsel. Quick! Quick! Quick! the change will come! Fortunes lost and emotions shattered. The great and small shall taste this change and bitter it shall be. Hearts, they shall fail, for the stress will be great. Men taking their own lives, for they will see their little gods wither and vanish away. But even in this hour are my people preparing for this time. They will see these judgments come but they will not be alarmed. Light shall they be to those around them. Many will ask of My people, "How is it that you still walk without fear or dread", and My people will answer, "The Lord is my Rock and my Salvation. In whom shall I fear?" And many shall be saved because of that witness, and My Glory in that time shall be great."

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." King James Version 2 Chronicles 7:1
